Executive Coaching:

Start with a Mentor and a Primer

Dentistry is a difficult profession and you will work in an environment harder than most can comprehend. There are days you will feel very vulnerable and need someone to help you process and strategize options. A mentor is someone who will be your confidante and ask leading questions, offering options (from a wide range of experiences) so that you can direct your own course, on your own terms. They may lead you to conversations with staff, colleagues, or professionals. They may also guide you to just sleep on it.   To be effective, a mentor should have an understanding of the demands of clinical dentistry.   

Writing the primer will expose the weakness, make repairs and preserve the integrity of the institution.

Mentors, Coaches, Consultants

Mentoring and Coaching are not mutually exclusive. As consultants we take different approaches to training, depending on the needs of our clients.  One approach may utilize actions based on statistics, and franchise type systems. This is effective in most clinical situations where the technical processes need to be automatic.  Another approach is to maximize the strengths of team roles  and doctors. As your Executive Coach we will help map the process, define the actions, and memorialize the process.

The Process

An Executive Coach adds order to your vision by sequencing the events, involving the right people, and identifying the necessary resources. They refrain from judgment but guide you to determine the difference between improbable and impossible,  pushing you to soar to the heights of your vision.  


We know you have relationships with other professionals. Executive coaching will work with, not in place of your advisors.  We leave marketing, social media, and accounting to the professionals.
